Nefarious Terms of Service

The Discord application named Nefarious is used exclusively as a MEE6 Custom Bot (Bot Personalizer). That is MEE6’s premium “skin”: the same MEE6 software, configured so members see a customized name, avatar, status, activity, and optional backstory instead of the default MEE6 branding.

• Setup follows MEE6’s Custom Bot setup guide. The application’s OAuth2 redirect is MEE6’s https://mee6.xyz/custom-bot-auth endpoint.
• Operators manage plugins, commands, and premium features in the MEE6 dashboard.
• This application’s token is not used for any other Nefarious Discord app (News, Success, Congress, Backup, Charting, Alerts, or any operator-written bot).

Functionality, uptime, plugins, slash commands, automations, moderation, leveling, welcome messages, and every other bot feature are provided by MEE6, not by a separate Nefarious service. Those features are governed by:

If MEE6’s Terms and these Terms conflict on how the bot itself operates or how Discord API data is processed, MEE6’s Terms control. These Terms only cover Nefarious’s branding of the application and your use of it inside the Nefarious community.

Nefarious’s role is limited to:

• Choosing the Discord application’s display name, avatar, status, activity, and optional AI backstory shown to members.
• Hosting these branded legal pages so members and Discord reviewers can see that this app is a MEE6 Custom Bot.
• Deciding whether the bot stays installed in the Nefarious Discord and which MEE6 plugins operators turn on.

We do not write custom command handlers on this application, do not attach a second bot process to this token, and do not process Discord API data from this application beyond what MEE6 already processes for a Custom Bot. There is no extra Nefarious database of members, messages, or presence tied to this app.

Other Nefarious Discord applications (for example news, success screenshots, congress filings, backups, charts, or alerts) are separate apps with their own terms, privacy policies, and privileged-intent answers. Do not treat this page as applying to those bots, and do not reuse MEE6’s privileged-intent answers on them.

Because this application must work like MEE6, it needs Discord’s Server Members, Presence, and Message Content privileged intents. The field-by-field Discord form answers (MEE6’s official text) are on the intents cheat sheet. MEE6’s guide: How to fill Discord’s Privileged Intents form.

This application is a community-management bot. It is not financial, investment, tax, or trading advice. Leveling, welcome messages, automations, and other MEE6 features are not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Nefarious is not a registered investment adviser. Read the Financial Disclaimer.

• You must be allowed to use Discord and, if you are in the Nefarious community, at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, if higher).
• Do not use the bot to violate Discord’s rules, MEE6’s Terms, our Community Guidelines, or the law.
• Do not attempt to take over the application token, impersonate MEE6 or Nefarious, or run unauthorized code on this application.
• Operators may disable plugins, kick the bot, or stop the Custom Bot skin at any time.

THE NEFARIOUS DISCORD APPLICATION AND EVERY MEE6 FEATURE IT EXPOSES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT WELCOME MESSAGES, LEVELING, MODERATION, COMMANDS, OR ANY OTHER MEE6 FEATURE WILL BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR AVAILABLE. MEE6 AND DISCORD MAY CHANGE, RATE-LIMIT, OR REVOKE ACCESS AT ANY TIME.

Without limiting the following, we are not liable for (a) MEE6 or Discord outages, (b) a moderation action the bot takes or fails to take, (c) XP, roles, or automations that fire incorrectly, or (d) anyone treating a bot message as trading advice.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEFARIOUS, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, ANALYSTS, MODERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS (THE “NEFARIOUS PARTIES”) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, LOST TRADING GAINS, LOSS OF CAPITAL, MISSED OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, ANY CONTENT, SIGNAL, ALERT, INDICATOR, EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL, RESEARCH, COPY-TRADING ARRANGEMENT, OR THESE TERMS — WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND EVEN IF A NEFARIOUS PARTY WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE NEFARIOUS PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO NEFARIOUS (THROUGH WHOP OR OTHERWISE) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50).

Without limiting the above, the Nefarious Parties are not responsible for:

• Your trading decisions. Every trade you place — including trades that copy, mirror, or follow an analyst, alert, indicator, or community discussion — is your own decision and your own risk.
• Third-party platforms. Brokers, exchanges, copy-trading pools, prop firms, Discord, Whop, TradingView, or any other platform you use alongside the Service, including their outages, execution, slippage, fees, liquidations, or account actions.
• Data accuracy and availability. Delays, errors, or omissions in market data, calendars, filings, congressional trade reports, indicator values, or any other information displayed on the Service, or any downtime of the Service.
• Other users. Conduct or content of other members, including in Discord, on comments, or on shared boards.
• Unauthorized access to your Discord, Google, Whop, broker, or exchange accounts, except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms.

Consumer rights. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages, or limit how long an implied warranty lasts. If you are a consumer in such a jurisdiction (including the EU, UK, or certain U.S. states), the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Basis of the bargain. The disclaimers and limitations in these Terms are fundamental elements of the agreement between you and Nefarious; the Service would not be offered (particularly its free tiers) without them. Each limitation applies independently, survives termination of your access, and applies even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Informal resolution first: email Business@nefarious.trading and allow 30 days before a formal proceeding against Nefarious. MEE6’s own Terms apply to the MEE6 platform.

We may update these Terms by changing the date above and posting the new version at this URL. If the application stops being an exclusive MEE6 Custom Bot, these Terms will be replaced — MEE6’s privileged-intent answers would no longer apply. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
