Are is a low-frequency option swinger with a safer, more selective approach. He trades high-premium, long-dated contracts, often months out, and usually buys in the last stretch of the session to get a cheaper entry. Some weeks he takes nothing at all: when the market is choppy he sizes down or sits out entirely, and he tells you so.

( 02 โ€” HOW HE TRADES )

How he trades

  1. 01The full trade is announcedAre posts the open, the close, and the stop-out, each with the price. An entry looks like OPEN, the ticker, the strike, the expiration, the fill price, and a (swing) tag, usually with a line of context about the entry and his sizing.
  2. 02Size for the premiumHis contracts are long-dated and high premium, often several hundred dollars each. In his own words, some positions are better for larger portfolios. Size down or skip a trade rather than oversize it.
  3. 03A watch is not an entryWhen he posts a ticker with a level, he is waiting for that level to break before doing anything. Add it to your watchlist and hold off until he posts an OPEN.
  4. 04Quiet weeks are normalNo alerts means no setups he liked, not absence. He scans daily and says so when nothing qualifies. Do not fill the silence with your own trades on his behalf.

( 03 โ€” ALERT FORMAT )

What his alerts look like

Are โ€” Entry alert

Are โ€” Entry alert

Opening a swing

โ€œOPEN $INTC $120 call 9/18 @ $4.48 (swing)โ€

A real entry: buy the $120 call expiring September 18, filled at $4.48 per contract, tagged as a swing. Context about sizing and entry quality usually follows in the same message.

Stopping out

โ€œStopping out of $GM here @ 1.35 for a loss. Just managing risk.โ€

Exits are announced live, losses included, with his reasoning. Contracts decay every day, so he cuts rather than bag-holds, even when he still likes the chart.

Watching a setup

โ€œStill watching those $AVGO septembers, over 427 is the level we wantโ€

A watchlist item with the trigger level. Nothing to do yet: the trade only exists if the level breaks and he posts an OPEN.

( 04 โ€” BEFORE YOU FOLLOW )

Notes and warnings

  • High-premium contracts mean a single position can cost several hundred dollars. If that forces you to oversize, follow a lower-premium analyst instead.
  • He may re-enter a name he just stopped out of. Do not read a re-entry as indecision; it is how he trades levels.
  • Low frequency is the strategy. Days or weeks without a trade are normal, and chasing his quiet periods with your own entries defeats the point of following him.
