Nefarious Charting Terms

Nefarious Charting is a prefix chart bot. It reads the text of a command so it can fetch public candles and reply with an image. Typical commands:

• nf / fc / !fc — candlestick chart (stocks, crypto, FX, futures). !fc BTC resolves Bitcoin to the all-time index and replies with chart.png.
• nlc — the same chart with optional options/GEX level overlays when a snapshot exists.
• nfa — advanced chart (RSI and longer EMAs) plus a short price embed.
• nfon / nfhl — overnight or Hyperliquid perp charts when those feeds have data.
• nfheatmap / nfnews — market heatmap image or recent headline links.
• Optional play-money nfbuy / nfsell / nfportfolio, saved layouts, and admin nfschedule posts.

Registered prefixes include nf, nfchart, fc, !fc, nffc, nffind, nlc, nfa, nfadv, nfon, nfhl, nfheatmap, nfnews, nfbuy, nfsell, nfportfolio, nfreset, nfsave, nflayout, nflayouts, nfschedule, nfhelp.

Charts, levels, heatmaps, headlines, paper fills, and any number on an image are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice and are not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. Nefarious and the operators of this bot are not registered investment advisers, broker-dealers, or commodity trading advisors.

Candles come from third-party market sources. You accept that:

• Feeds can lag, gap, filter wicks, or resolve a ticker to the wrong instrument.
• A symbol search may pick an index, a perp, or a spot pair you did not intend.
• The bot, its renderer, or Discord can fail, so a command may never reply.
• Past chart speed or coverage is not a promise of future speed or coverage.

Confirm any price with your broker or a primary venue before you act. We are not liable for trades, missed trades, or other decisions made after seeing a bot reply.

Nefarious Charting runs on Discord. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Nothing here overrides Discord. We may remove the bot, rotate tokens, or change which servers it serves to stay within Discord’s platform rules, including privileged-intent limits.

Discord’s privileged-intent form asks why a bot needs Message Content, Server Members, or Presence. This bot needs Message Content only. The client sets intents.message_content = True and intents.guilds = True. It does not enable members or presences.

Privileged intents

• Message Content: used. The bot’s only trigger is prefix text and @mentions. Discord will not deliver “!fc BTC”, “nf AAPL 1h”, or “nfa SPY” without Message Content. The client sets intents.message_content = True, splits the first token, and runs the matching handler. It does not welcome members, assign roles, or read presence.
• Server Members: not used. Nefarious.py never enables intents.members and has no on_member_join / role-sync / member-list code. Manage-Server checks for schedules use permissions on the message author object.
• Presence: not used. The bot never reads online, idle, DND, or streaming status. intents.presences is not set.

We do not justify Message Content with welcome messages, leveling, or invite tracking — this bot does none of that. Paste-ready answers: /legal/nefarious-charting/intents. Server-wide matrix: /legal/intents.

You may not use Nefarious Charting or its replies to:

• Present a chart or paper P&L as personalized advice, a solicitation, or a guaranteed outcome.
• Spam commands, overload the renderer, or attack the bot, Nefarious, or data vendors.
• Violate Discord’s rules or applicable law.

Operators may mute, move, or remove the bot at any time. We may stop a feed or the process without notice.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO Nefarious Charting WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE BOT IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (typically none; the bot is not sold as a standalone product) OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50).

Some places do not allow certain limitations. Those limits apply only as far as local law allows. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded (including fraud). This section works with the site-wide limitation of liability and Section 13 of the site Terms.

We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update is acceptance. If a change is material we will try to note it on the legal hub.

What !fc BTC does

The bot shows a typing indicator, resolves BTC to TradingView INDEX:BTCUSD (not a Grayscale trust), renders a black-theme daily candlestick PNG with EMA 15/30/65/200, volume, a discord.gg/nfrs watermark, and the Nefarious logo, then sends it as chart.png. Basic nf/fc replies are the image only — no embed. Charts are educational market pictures, not financial advice.
