Nefarious Alerts Terms

Effective September 12, 2026 · Last updated September 12, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Nefarious Alerts, a Discord application operated by Nefarious Digital doing business as Nefarious (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The bot’s application id is 1511878442571006103.

Operator Discord bot for the Nefarious server. It role-pings when a watched alert bot posts, keeps staff stickies at the bottom of a channel, runs slime/unslime (role strip, message purge, decision tree), extracts $cashtags into a 24-hour ticker digest, deletes Zoom and Apex links in two configured channels, logs which invite a joiner used, posts a public Trump-remarks schedule, and DMs Early Supporters a personal promo code.

By staying in a server where the bot runs, receiving its pings, or using a command, you agree to these Terms, the Nefarious Alerts Privacy Policy, our Financial Disclaimer, Community Guidelines, and Discord’s own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, leave the server or ask a moderator to remove the bot.

01What the bot does

Nefarious Alerts is an operator-run server tool, not a public App Directory product. Staff configure channel and role ids. In the Nefarious guild it:

  • Alert pings. In the configured alert channel, when a watched bot posts a new message that is not a Zoom link, Nefarious Alerts replies with a role mention so members who chose that role get notified.
  • Link filters. Deletes Zoom URLs in that same channel and Apex Trader Funding URLs in the configured Apex channel, including on edits.
  • Stickies. Staff with the ticker-command role can run !stick so a line stays at the bottom of a text channel. After new messages the bot deletes the previous sticky and posts it again. It stores that channel’s sticky text and the current Discord message id.
  • Slime / unslime. Allowed staff type slime @user (no prefix). The bot strips most roles, applies a pending-removal role, purges that user’s recent messages, locks the slimed role out of configured categories, and posts a decision in the slime-decision channel. A decider can react ⚠️ to restore the stored role snapshot, or staff can type unslime @user.
  • Ticker digest. Reads $cashtags from tweet-bot posts in the monitor channel and posts a rolling 24-hour list (command !tickers, plus a daily scheduled embed).
  • Join log. On member join, diffs invite uses and posts attribution to the join-log channel.
  • Trump schedule. Posts a public remarks calendar to the schedule channel and can ping a speak role shortly before events. Unprefixed “trump schedule…” phrases also work. The same public calendar can be mirrored to nefarious.trading/trump-schedule.
  • Early Supporter codes. !ThankYouES DMs a personal Whop promo code if that Discord id is on the operator list.

Prefix commands include !stick, !stickstop, !stickstart, !stickremove, !getstickies, !stickybot, !tickers, !ThankYouES. Unprefixed phrases include slime @user, unslime @user, trump schedule, trump scheduletoday. The bot does not execute trades or take order tickets.

02Discord’s terms apply

Nefarious Alerts runs on Discord. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Nothing here overrides Discord. We may remove the bot, rotate tokens, or change channels to stay within Discord’s platform rules, including privileged-intent limits.

Whop (Early Supporter checkout) and any public calendar source for the remarks schedule have their own terms.

03Not financial advice

Role pings, ticker lists, schedule posts, and anything else Nefarious Alerts sends are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice and are not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. Nefarious and the operators of this bot are not registered investment advisers, broker-dealers, or commodity trading advisors.

A ping means “a configured bot posted in that channel,” not that a trade is valid. Do your own research. Trading can cause substantial loss. See our Financial Disclaimer.

04Pings, lists, and filters can miss or be wrong

You accept that:

  • A watched-bot post may not be pinged (restart, permissions, duplicate-id guard, or Zoom filter).
  • Cashtags can be incomplete, duplicated, or taken from a third-party tweet embed that is wrong.
  • Link deletes and slime purges can fail if Discord rate-limits us or we lack permission.
  • Schedule posts depend on a third-party public calendar and can be late or missing.
  • Past ping speed or digest coverage is not a promise of future speed or coverage.

You are responsible for confirming any fact before you act. We are not liable for trades, missed trades, or other decisions made after a bot message.

05Slime and other staff actions

Slime is a moderation action by authorized staff, not something the bot does to random members on its own. If you are slimed, the bot may remove most of your roles, apply a pending-removal role, deny that role in lockdown channels, and delete your recent messages (up to a configured per-channel limit). A stored role snapshot is used if staff unslime you or revert via ⚠️. Some roles (managed roles, or roles above the bot) may stay.

By remaining in the server you accept that staff may use these commands and that a mistaken slime may still delete messages Discord will not restore. Unslime restores roles we still have permission to assign; it does not undelete purged messages.

06Discord gateway intents (honest)

Discord’s privileged-intent form asks why a bot needs Message Content, Server Members, or Presence. The client is constructed with discord.Intents.default() + message_content=True + members=True + reactions + invites.

Privileged intents

  • Message Content: used. Prefix commands (!stick, !tickers, !ThankYouES), unprefixed slime/unslime and trump-schedule phrases, Zoom/Apex link filters, and cashtag extraction from tweet-bot embeds all need message text. Discord blanks content, embeds, and attachments without this intent.
  • Server Members: used. on_member_join (invite attribution) requires this privileged intent. Slime/unslime reads member.roles, strips them to a pending-removal role, stores previous_role_ids, and restores that snapshot. Staff/immune/decider checks also read roles.
  • Presence: not used. The bot never reads online, idle, DND, device, or streaming status. intents.presences is not enabled.

What we actually use

  • Guilds — resolve configured channels and apply slime lockdown overwrites
  • Message Content — prefix/bare commands, link filters, cashtags, sticky text
  • Server Members — on_member_join, fetch_member, member.roles for slime/unslime
  • Reactions — ⚠️ on slime decision posts to revert
  • Invites — snapshot invite uses so a join can be attributed

These are not MEE6 answers (welcome DMs, XP leveling, music). Paste-ready form text is on /legal/nefarious-alerts/intents. The server-wide matrix is on /legal/intents.

07Acceptable use

You may not use Nefarious Alerts or its posts to:

  • Present a ping, ticker list, or schedule line as personalized advice or a guaranteed outcome.
  • Evade slime, spam commands, or impersonate the bot or Nefarious staff.
  • Share an Early Supporter promo code that was DMed to you for someone else’s use.
  • Violate Discord’s rules or applicable law.

Operators may mute, move, or remove the bot at any time. We may stop a feature without notice.

08Disclaimer of warranties

NEFARIOUS ALERTS IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT A PING WILL FIRE, THAT A STICKY WILL STAY UP, THAT SLIME WILL BE REVERSIBLE, THAT A LINK WILL BE DELETED, OR THAT A DIGEST OR SCHEDULE IS COMPLETE OR TRUE.

09Limitation of liability

Without limiting the following, we are not liable for (a) a missed or extra role ping, (b) a ticker digest or remarks schedule you traded from, (c) messages slime deleted or roles it removed, (d) a Zoom/Apex message we deleted or failed to delete, or (e) Discord or a third-party calendar being down.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEFARIOUS, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, ANALYSTS, MODERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS (THE “NEFARIOUS PARTIES”) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, LOST TRADING GAINS, LOSS OF CAPITAL, MISSED OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, ANY CONTENT, SIGNAL, ALERT, INDICATOR, EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL, RESEARCH, COPY-TRADING ARRANGEMENT, OR THESE TERMS — WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND EVEN IF A NEFARIOUS PARTY WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE NEFARIOUS PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO NEFARIOUS (THROUGH WHOP OR OTHERWISE) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50).

Without limiting the above, the Nefarious Parties are not responsible for:

  • Your trading decisions. Every trade you place — including trades that copy, mirror, or follow an analyst, alert, indicator, or community discussion — is your own decision and your own risk.
  • Third-party platforms. Brokers, exchanges, copy-trading pools, prop firms, Discord, Whop, TradingView, or any other platform you use alongside the Service, including their outages, execution, slippage, fees, liquidations, or account actions.
  • Data accuracy and availability. Delays, errors, or omissions in market data, calendars, filings, congressional trade reports, indicator values, or any other information displayed on the Service, or any downtime of the Service.
  • Other users. Conduct or content of other members, including in Discord, on comments, or on shared boards.
  • Unauthorized access to your Discord, Google, Whop, broker, or exchange accounts, except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms.

Consumer rights. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages, or limit how long an implied warranty lasts. If you are a consumer in such a jurisdiction (including the EU, UK, or certain U.S. states), the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Basis of the bargain. The disclaimers and limitations in these Terms are fundamental elements of the agreement between you and Nefarious; the Service would not be offered (particularly its free tiers) without them. Each limitation applies independently, survives termination of your access, and applies even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.

10Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Nefarious and the Nefarious Parties from claims arising out of your use of Nefarious Alerts, your commands, your violation of these Terms or any law, or your violation of a third party’s rights (including Discord’s rules).

11Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update is acceptance.

12Proof of function

This is what the running code does — not a welcome bot, level-up card, or music bot. Author line on digest embeds: Nefarious Alerts. Live destinations (open in Discord if you are in the guild):

1. Alert ping (needs Message Content)

A watched bot posts in the alert channel. If the message is new and is not a Zoom link, Nefarious Alerts replies with only a role mention (no embed) and records that message id so it does not ping twice.

2. Sticky (needs Message Content)

Staff run !stick with the line to keep at the bottom. After later messages the bot deletes the previous sticky message and posts the same text again. State is channel id, text, active flag, and message id.

3. Slime (needs Message Content + Server Members)

Staff type slime @user. The bot needs the phrase (Message Content) and the target’s role list (Server Members) to strip roles, store previous_role_ids, and post a revert-able decision.
