Sharpshear trades crypto perps on margin, short as often as long, holding positions across days. Every trade opens with the entry and the stop, exits come out in quarters, and he averages into positions he still believes in, posting the new average each time.
( 02 โ HOW HE TRADES )
How he trades
- 01The entry and the stop open every tradeAn alert reads like SPCX SHORT, PE: 130.4 SL: 151.5. PE is his position entry, SL the stop. Take-profits are managed live rather than laddered upfront, so stay subscribed to the follow-ups.
- 02Exits come out a quarter at a timeTrim %25 is the standard exit message, repeated as the trade works, usually ending with the stop moved to entry on the rest. Mirroring him means scaling out, not closing in one go.
- 03He averages in, and posts the new averageAdding here, new Avgx 132.1 means he added to the position and that is the new average entry. Corrections get posted when a number was wrong, so check for a follow-up before acting.
- 04Read the size cuesNotes like small margin play, scalp, or this trade has played out twice already, be cautious are his sizing guidance. A re-run of an old trade is flagged as riskier, treat it that way.
( 03 โ ALERT FORMAT )
What his alerts look like
Opening a trade
โAVAX SHORT. PE: 6.85 SL: 7.20โ
Direction, position entry, stop-loss. That is the full opening alert; targets are managed in the follow-ups.
Taking profit
โAVAX SHORT. Trim %25โ
A quarter of the position closed. Expect several of these per winner, then stops moved to entry on what remains.
Scaling in
โSPCX SHORT. Adding to margin here, new Avgx: $136โ
He added to the position; Avgx is the updated average entry. Decide your own add based on your size, not his.
( 04 โ BEFORE YOU FOLLOW )
Notes and warnings
- This is leveraged margin trading in both directions. Shorts can lose more than the move suggests when a coin squeezes, so size like the stop can be blown through.
- Take-profit levels are not laddered upfront. If you cannot watch the follow-ups, set your own targets at entry.
- Alerts often come with a chart attached; the reasoning lives in the image rather than the text.
